Happy Birthday, Ty!

For Ty's birthday we went to Classic to play on the huge blown up toys. The kids thought they were in heaven!

They jumped forever in this toy. We had to literally grab them and drag them out when it was time to go.

In this toy the kids pretended to be American Gladiators and they kept knocking eachother down.

Coming down the huge slide.

I think this kid had a great day!

Look who's three!

Ty had his third birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Harding's house. Grandma and Grandpa Stratton came and he had so much fun having both sets together at the ame time. He opened his presents first and was delighted with what he was given. Here he is "making music" as he likes to say whenever he is maiking any sort of noise.

Make a wish, Ty!

Ty likes to eat with an audience and tonight was no exception. Notice all the animals surrounding his plate "watching" him eat.

Tyler in grandparent heaven.

Ainsley singing one of her favorite songs. Let's see if you can guess what it is.

We listen to it over and over again in the car.

Ty is so funny. Whenever we pray, he scrunches up his face for some reason. It is so funny to watch. Here he is saying the blessing before a meal.

Field Trip

Ainsley's wonderful pre-school teacher took them on a field trip to a fire station and our neighborhood wal-mart. She had a blast looking around the fire station and even convinced the fireman that the kids should be able to get into the truck. They did a great demo about how they look and sound when they are all dressed up in their fire protection. They explained why they looked and sounded (with their oxygen on) the way they do and told the kids not to hide from them if they see them coming to help them in a fire. Those firemen did a great job and I thank them for all they do for our communities.

Then it was off to the neighborhood wal-mart to talk about nutrition and learn about different parts of the store. They gave the kids warm, fresh tortillas. They got to walk around the store and even go into the back where the freezers and refridgerators were. They had a great time.

Snow Day

We have had so much snow that the kids wanted to make a sled run out of a pile of it near the driveway. Ainsley let Ty take the first turn (she was a bit nervous about it and needed Ty to be the guinea pig). Ty made it look o fun that she joined him after that.
Here they are at the top of their little "hill".
After they scoot themselves forward, they squeal with delight as they slide down the hill.
After they were done sledding, Ty decided he wanted to start a snowball fight with mommy,

but Ainsley said she wanted to head inside for some hot chocolate.

Happy New Year

We celebrated the approaching new year at the house of our good friends, Amber and Pete Goff. We ate some yummy food and played games. Amber and Matt Winward were there also. Matt entertained us and the kids there with some magic tricks and we all found out how little we know about music. We had a great time and it was fun to see everyone. We even stayed until midnight to ring in the New Year.
